1. Can the resources be searched ?

Yes.  At the end of the resource page you have the search button.  All you have to do is to key in the keyword and click the search button.

2. Why do some multiple choice questions don't load properly? 

Some multiple choice question exercises contain pictures which may take sometime to load if you are on a low bandwidth connection.   If it throws up file not found error all you have to do is wait till the page loads and click the refresh button of the browser.

3. Can I download the videos from this site ?

Yes by all means.  The surgical videos of this site have been uploaded either to youtube or google videos.

If you are using firefox web browser all you need to do is to get the free fire fox youtube downloader from here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/users/login?to=addon%2F2390&m=1  

You need to register first.  It is free.

In this site you will have to provide the url of the video and click download.  It will do the job for you.

4. Why are presentations given separately ?

This is to help teachers of otolaryngology to easily prepare for a class.  The presentations are provided in powerpoint or flash formats.  You can download them to your hard disk.  

5. What do I do if the site is down ?

6. When I download files provided here I am getting a warning from my browser saying that some of the files you are about to download may harm your computer.  What should I do ?

It is actually a so called security feature provided in the internet explorer.  It gives such a warning when you attempt to download executable files.  You can ignore the warning and proceed with the download.  The files provided here are safe and scanned for viruses before uploading.
